SusanClaire’s fun, year-long project consists of 365 blocks taking you from the center of the city’s night sky, gradually moving outward from town to country. The sky lightens from night to day as you move through suburbs, parks, gardens, villages, farms and end with rolling countryside.
Susan was looking for a fun, whimsical yet organic look and feel that would be fitting for showcasing hand-drawn templates of her blocks.
This book shares SusanClaire’s quilting adventures around New Zealand as well as her experience living on a Canal Boat. During that time she slowly developed her block drawings and overall vision for That Town and Country Quilt!
